Thanks to everyone who supported STSM's 4th annual Walk a Mile in Her Shoes, including our sponsors, walkers, volunteers, and cheering spectators. A record number of people registered this year, helping STSM raise vital funds to support survivors and prevent sexual violence in our community. We are so grateful!

Men from across the Midlands will be standing up against sexual assault and abuse, one pair of heels at a time, on Thursday, April 18. Hosted by Sexual Trauma Services of the Midlands (STSM) and presented by Palmetto Health, the 4th annual Walk a Mile in Her Shoes begins at 6 p.m. outside the Convention Center in the Vista.
Men, women, and children of all ages are invited to participate, individually or in teams. Registration is FREE for children 12 and under. Men should come prepared with footwear - CLICK HERE for tips on where to find women's shoes that fit, or how to decorate your own shoes.
Walk a Mile gets men involved in the fight against sexual violence. The event also raises awareness about the free, local services STSM provides for survivors of sexual assault and abuse. It is one of several events held throughout April, Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM).
