Eve Wilson
Executive Director
|
Eve joined STSM in 2001 as a volunteer advocate. Her passion for
helping survivors of sexual assault and abuse led her to make a
career change and accept the full time position with STSM in 2002 as
Director of Volunteers. She left the agency in December of
2005, but her dedication to the agency and STSM’s mission brought
her back a year later filling the role of Executive Director. Mrs.
Wilson’s 25 years experience in business management in Columbia
benefits the agency as she continues to bring awareness to our
community about sexual trauma and STSM’s services.

Georgina Hance
Office Manager
|
Georgina joined STSM in September of 2007 as the
Office Manager. Coming
with the experience of over 25 years in an administrative role and
14 of those years in the non-profit world, she provides the agency
with a familiar level of compassion.
She is glad to be a part of this extraordinary group and
feels that STSM is a valued and much needed presence in the
midlands.

Ginny Waller, J.D.
Director of Development
|
Ginny joined STSM in 2005 as a Volunteer Advocate.
She is a graduate of Louisiana Tech University with a B.A.
and M.A. in English and the University of South Carolina School of
Law with a J.D. After
several years of private practice, Ginny decided to follow her heart
back to STSM and joined the agency as the Director of Development in
May 2008.
Ginny feels blessed that she now has the perfect career, working for
a mission she passionately believes in and with a staff that daily
inspires her.

Alexandria “Zan”
Smith-Glenn, Ph.D.
Director of Crisis Services
|
Zan graduated in May 2007 with a Ph.D. in
Counselor Education from the University of South Carolina.
Prior to pursuing her Ph.D., she worked for three years as a
Clinical Counselor at the William J. McCord Adolescent Treatment
Facility in Orangeburg, South Carolina. During this time, Zan
completed the requirements for Licensure as a Professional Counselor
as well as Certification as an Addictions Counselor. She is
also a Nationally Certified Counselor. Zan graduated from the
University of Georgia with a M.Ed. in Counseling. She
completed her undergraduate work at the University of North Carolina
in Charlotte where she majored in Psychology and Criminal Justice.

Lee Patterson
Volunteer Services Coordinator

Lee is a graduate
from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga where she majored in
Human Services: Non-Profit Management and minored in Women’s
Studies. She is, however, a Columbia, South Carolina native.
Lee has been
volunteering since her sophomore year in high school and truly
believes in the effect that volunteers have in their communities and
how they change lives.

Katie Reid, MSW
Community Education Program
Director
|
Katie was raised in Philadelphia, PA and earned her Bachelor’s in
Social Work from New York University in Manhattan in 2000. After
working in New York and volunteering for a year with AmeriCorps, she
moved to Columbia in 2003 with her husband Chris.
In 2004 she graduated from USC’s Graduate School of Social Work.
Since then she has been working with non-profits in Columbia to
partner with public schools and bring services to students in need
in the schools.
Katie enjoys sharing the mission of STSM to the greater Columbia
community!

Daphne Pearson, MA, LPC-I
Advocate Counselor
|
Daphne graduated with honors from Webster University with a MA in
counseling in May of 2007.
She received her undergraduate degree in Accounting from Troy
State University, Phoenix City, Alabama in 2004 also with honors.
She has over 10 years experience working with teens and
adolescents. Daphne worked as a Residential Specialist at Gateway
Girls Group Home within the Department of Juvenile Justice here in
Columbia, SC., before accepting a position with STSM.
She currently works with youth that have behavior and emotional
issues at A.S.Y Counseling Services in Columbia. SC.
She received her LPC-I license in November of 2007.

Qiana McRae, MA
Group Services Coordinator
|
Qiana recently graduated from Webster University with her Master’s
in Professional Counseling. Qiana has two years of experience
working with adolescents and facilitating support groups. Qiana has
served her community by volunteering as a Counselor with Richland
County Juvenile Drug Court and A.S.Y. Counseling Inc. Qiana is very
happy to now be a member of STSM.
