  Community Education

STSM offers public awareness, education, and risk reduction to a variety of middle and high school students, community youth and adult organizations, teachers and school administrators, parent organizations, and professional businesses. Our Community Education Program has been reaching area youth and citizens for over 10 years with an overall goal of reducing and ultimately preventing sexual trauma.

Presentations Available:

-Boundary Setting
-Communication/Healthy Relationships
-Healthy Relationships/Teen Dating Violence (sample presentation)
-Sexual Harassment and Stalking
-Sexual Assault (Scope of the Problem, Myths and Stereotypes, Laws and Statistics, Drug Facilitated Sexual Assault, (Date Rape/Predatorial Drugs), Personal Safety and Risk Reduction)
-Child Sexual Abuse
-After Effects of Child Sexual Abuse, Sexual Assault
-Teacher Trainings

All presentations can be tailored to suit particular group needs.

*      Each presentation accompanied by activities usually lasts between 40-60 minutes long.  Delivery can be flexible.

*      Presentation topics may be combined to better meet the targeted needs of the group.

 *      A six-week curriculum is also available (presentations take place once a week) which is designed to explore related issues and topics which may be precursors to
